key words: au pair, Nepal, Nepalese Dadeldhura Doti , culture study, volunteer service volunteer program in Nepal ,Nepali people traditional life of Nepal, western Nepal
About the organizer of the Internship program: We are a group of Nepalese youths living in a small town in  the western part of Nepal. Our village Moi, Koral Khola is nearly 500 km far away from Delhi India and it lies 800 far away from Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. Our organization Ambika youth club is a totally non-profit organization which is fully devoted in the social activities  and children's education  of the village. All of us are working voluntarily.  We would like to welcome anyone who is interested to work with us voluntarily  to help the children of our village.  If you are interested to make an internship in Nepal, or a culture training course in Nepal then Our village may a good choice for you.  Our main goal is to learn some new things from foreigners or people from the other part of the country and to give them something from our culture. We strongly believe in the fact that we should learn good things from every cultures and should try to abolish the bad traditions from all over the country.

In our village, there are two primary schools namely. (a)Durga Primary school, Moi Dadeldhura (b) Janta primary school, Koral Khola Dadeldhura. They lie nearly 4-5 km apart from each other. In each of the two schools, children can learn up to 5th class. The age of these children lies in between 5-12. They all come at 10 a.m in the morning to the school and the schools are closed at 4 p.m.  Since only three teachers have to take the responsibility of all of  five classes,  two of the classes have to learn without  teacher. That is why they are not so good at school.  Since, our village lie a bit far away from the capital of Nepal, the children do not also have  good facilities for learning.
In some families, the parents are poor and the children have to work in the field in the morning.  After work, they go to school during the day time. When they finish their school, then again they have to help their parents in different things.

That means they can learn only in the school. However, there are not enough teachers in the school. The school has five classes but only three teachers. We look for interns who can help the children in learning.

That is why we are looking for students/ elderly people male or female who want to serve voluntarily in the school and help the children in learning English, Mathematics, Science, Musics, sports Geography etc.

You can stay together with any one of the family in our village. During  your stay, you will be  behaved  just like as  a family member of the village. Not all of the people in the village can speak English but there are some young guys and girls who can speak English  and they will assist you to communicate with other villagers and with the rest of the family members. Of course with the time, you will get used with it. Even though at the beginning, it is always a bit difficult to adopt a different culture, but this is the way how you get to know different society and different way of life style.  Surely, you will get the same food whatever the family eats and you will get love and affection  from  the family just like as  the a family a member gets from his/her family.

How to get to your Internship place:

Since our village lies a bit far way from  Kathmandu, the place where the only  international airport is located, we have a two cooperation partners (Please click on the link if you want to get to know more about our cooperation partners) who cooperate us  in receiving our guest from the international airport in Kathmandu and guiding them about how to get to our village. Normally,  we will organize  a person who travel together with you to our village.  But If you want to come to our village on your own, then you just follow the follow instructions

If you plan for an internship in our Nepalese village and are  coming from a foreign country, then one can choose the following two routs, either you fly to Kathmandu, Nepal or Delhi India.
  1. You fly to  Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal. Then  you take a direct bus from Kathmandu to DIPAYAL or SILGADI. Our village is on the way to Dipayal and you will get off nearly 25 km before Dipayal. The name of the bust stop is  KORAL KHOLA.  The busy journy is very long. Normally it takes 14-16 hours from Kathmandu to Koral Khola.  Alternatively, you can fly from Kathmandu to Dhangadi and then from Dhangadi take a bus to Diapayal. A Bus ride from Dhangadi to Koral Khola is only of 5 hours.
  2.  You fly to Delhi, the capital of India. Then you take the train or Bus to Banbassa Tanakpur and enter Nepal from the boarder MAHENDRA NAGAR, Nepal. This boarder lies in the very far western part of Nepal. Then you can take again a bus from Mahendra Nagar to Dipayal and get off at Koral Khola village.
Once you reach at Koral Khola bus stop, you can ask anyone how to get to the Head teacher (Principle ) of the Janta primary school.  Everybody at the bus stop will  be read in assisting to bring you to header master of the school.
